SFBC - Tube Times

Working with the Communications Director, I designed and illustrated the Summer 2015 issue of the Tube Times, a quarterly magazine promoting bicycle transportation published by the S.F. Bicycle Coalition. Past issues of the Tube Times were heavily image and type based, so we wanted to try to incorporate some fun illustrations and make it more playful. The challenge was creating a diverse set of characters. The even bigger challenge was using only one spot color, black and white.
