Winterfest 2015 - S.F. Bicycle Coalition

I designed and illustrated this poster/mailer for the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition's 2015 Winterfest. The challenge was creating a diverse set of characters using only one spot color, black and white. 

The Winterfest is the SFBC's annual fundraising event. The idea for this poster was to celebrate ‘The year of the protected bike lane’. We wanted to show people using the bike lanes and having a good time. Even though it doesn't snow in San Francisco, I took creative license and used bike gears as snowflakes to give it a winter touch.
